Summer 2017. Very hot, for a change. It had been two years since we launched our first kombuchas on the market. We created the fermented tea drink that we would have loved to find when we first started drinking it. Delicious, yes, but also tremendouslyhealthy. With a soft bubble and minimal residual sugar. Unpasteurized, with top quality, natural and organic ingredients and bottled in glass, with the lowest residual sugar on the European market. But… from time to time -why deceive ourselves and you?-We missed a nice cold beer.
We did some tests to get a kombuchabeer-drenched. We started the formulation with a very clear idea. The name, quite a bit more complicated. Kombutxabirra, Kombuchabirra, Kombutxabeer, Kombirra, Kombeer…paleo diet, which advocates restricting the consumption of cereals, ended up naming it.
Our birth was Paleobirra Unique, super original, revolutionary.
With the smell, taste and colour of beer, with a soft foam. It transported us to our beloved lambic beers and was ideal for replacing those beers we abandoned. With hardly any alcohol (less than 1.2%), absolutely no cereal. Just our kombucha base and hop infusion. Of our 8 varieties, the lowest in residual sugar: no more and no less than 0.20 grams per 100 milliliters of product.
In these years of life, Paleobirra, fully consolidated in the NoLo beverage sector, has become one of ourBest sellers. Whoever tries it, is amazed and repeats it, it is inevitable. In a tall glass or a chilled drink or, why not, from the bottle itself, enjoying it and experiencing the well-being it produces is very easy.
Later, we decided to expand the family with Paleobirra Lemon. Paleobirra's fun sister is aradler -or beer with lemon soda-totally healthy, with lemon juice and lemongrass infusion. A sprinkle of stevia just made it even rounder.
It is about enjoying without limitations the most refreshing drink of the summer, with absolutely natural ingredients and of organic origin, with only 0.16 grams of sugar per 100 milliliters or, what is the same, 2 calories, up to 40 times less than the beers with lemon that can be found in stores.
