Probiotic Gazpacho with Kombucha

Gazpacho Probiótico con GREEN Kombucha

Gazpacho is a cold soup originating from the southern region of Spain, particularly Andalusia. It typically consists of fresh, raw vegetables, including tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and onions, along with garlic, extra virgin olive oil, vinegar, and breadcrumbs.

It is a healthy and nutritious dish, low in calories and fat, yet rich in vitamins and minerals. Popular in Spain, especially during the hot summer months, it is often served with small toppings such as chopped vegetables, hard-boiled egg, croutons, or ham, which enhance both the texture and flavor of the soup. Gazpacho comes in many variations, incorporating fresh herbs like basil or cilantro, fruits such as watermelon or mango, roots such as beets, and spices like cumin or hot peppers.

For probiotic gazpacho, you can incorporate probiotic-rich foods such as yogurt, water kefir, or GREEN Kombutxa, which adds a tart and slightly sweet flavor, promoting healthy digestion and strengthening the immune system.

GREEN Kombutxa is completely natural, unpasteurized, and unfiltered, made with water, cane sugar, Lung Ching green tea, basil juice, and matcha tea, all organically produced. It contains a colony of bacteria and yeast known as SCOBY (Symbiotic Colony of Bacteria and Yeasts), with bubbles naturally forming during the second fermentation in the bottle. GREEN Kombutxa differs from pasteurized kombucha, which undergoes a heating process to eliminate bacteria and yeast. It contains live bacteria, beneficial yeasts, enzymes, and organic acids, all of which have positive health effects, including improved digestion, immune system support, and reduced oxidative stress in the body.

GREEN Kombutxa has a delightful aroma reminiscent of freshly cut basil, with persistent notes of matcha tea in the mouth. Refreshing for any occasion, it pairs perfectly with pasta dishes and various types of meat prepared in any cooking style.

This gazpacho recipe is vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free, offering a healthy and delicious option to beat the summer heat. It's customizable according to your preferences, allowing you to add ingredients like cucumbers, spinach, kale, arugula, or avocado for added nutrients and flavor. GREEN Kombutxa enhances digestion and helps balance the intestinal microbiota due to its excellent source of probiotics, enzymes, and antioxidants. For an extra flavor kick, you can include ingredients like garlic, cilantro, or jalapeno.
