Don’t panic, please! Cane sugar is one of the ingredients in our kombucha. To brew kombucha it is absolutely essential as the food used by yeasts and bacteria to ferment. Do not suffer, since in the final product the sugar only remains a minimal residual amount, which the bacteria have not been able to eat. In the case of Kombutxa, it is a maximum of 1.8 grams per 100 ml.
As in all fermented products, alcohol is generated during the kombucha brewing process. Our kombucha contains a very small amount: less than 1,2% alcohol.
Many factors, including ambient temperature, sugar concentrations in fruit and vegetables we add, the time of year or moon phase when it is made, all these facts make each batch unique. The taste and sweetness or carbonation may therefore vary. It is difficult to control nature.
The very little amount of residual sugar it contains makes Mun Kombucha the only artisan and unpasteurized kombucha that does not require cold storage and during transportation. You just need a place away from heat to store it.
Once opened keep it in the refrigerator and drink it in less than 10 days.

In Mun Kombucha we use simple ingredients, the procedure to make kombucha could not be easier. We infuse the tea, sweeten it and add a culture of bacteria and yeast, which is known as the mother or SCOBY (Symbiotic Colony of Bacteria and Yeast). We let it ferment for 4 weeks. Before packaging, we add fruit or vegetable juices and / or infusions. It is then when a second fermentation takes place in the bottle and the soft bubble is born.
The bubble contained in our drinks is generated spontaneously during the second fermentation process.
The best before date is 12 months from the production date. Once you open a bottle, we recommend keeping it cold and consuming it within a maximum period of 10 days. It does not lose properties, do not suffer, but it can vary in taste and lose the fine bubble.
